ELLE
Tara Agace's Hollywood success story begins as they often do — aspiring actress leaves her hometown (London) for L.A. to make it in motion pictures — but it has a surprise ending. Agace apprenticed with a jeweler, learned Edwardian and Georgian techniques, and started designing stack rings, web chokers, and tassle earrings that have found their way into the possession of Madonna, Shirley Manson, and members of the band Aerosmith. "Mass production is everywhere," says Agace. "I'm trying to keep the art of traditional handmade jewelry alive."
